Our mission is to help charities grow with legacy giving.

As part of our commitment, we set up the Legacy Futures Bursary Awards, aiming to invest in the future talent that will take our sector forward.

If you are an aspiring legacy management professional, we encourage you to apply for the Crispin Ellison Bursary. Now in its 9th year, we are funding another two people through their ILM Certificate in Legacy Administration.

We are also proud to continue partnering with the Elischer Foundation who support talented fundraisers who have the drive and ambition to be the next generation of sector leaders.

We are recommending legacy and in-memory fundraisers to consider applying for the Elischer Foundation Mentee Programme which is a fantastic opportunity to develop as fundraising leaders. In 2024, five legacy fundraisers from around the world secured a place on the programme, and we hope more will secure a place this year. As last year, Legacy Futures will be running sessions to support the professional development of the 2025/26 cohort.

I hope you apply and good luck!

I was thrilled to find out Will Power had won Legacy Future’s international bursary! We’re at a stage in this national campaign where it’s time to take things to the next level, and inspire even more charitable gifts in Wills in Canada. Winning a mentorship from some of the world’s leaders in legacy thinking could not have been better timing. Laurie Fox, Will Power
