Legacy Link were approached last year by Diabetes UK, as they were in need of a legacy consultant to provide maternity leave cover for their legacy manager over a 12-month period.
Key to our service has been the flexibility, knowledge and experience that we have been able to offer to the charity, to complement their existing full-time Legacy Administration Officer. Our consultant, Becky Yates, has supported him not only through working quickly and efficiently on all aspects of casework, but also by sharing her knowledge and expertise in other areas. As an example, Becky has been involved in governance issues, including advising and assisting in the formulation of a delegated authority proposal to be put to Diabetes UK’s trustees.
