Christian Aid approached Legacy Link to support them with their short-term gifts in Wills’ income pipeline forecasting.
Christian Aid was using a methodology that had been in place for many years but wasn’t providing the ideal level of information for either the Legacy department or the Finance department. Legacy Link worked with them to develop a new approach.
What did we do?
Through looking at the current processes, speaking to the different teams and reviewing the use of the existing management software, we developed guidelines and provided training on revised procedures and ways of working.
We also developed a new and simpler dashboard for the teams to update, with policy and instruction on how to use it, to ensure that the necessary levels of information needed for the teams were provided.
What was the outcome?
The Legacy and Finance teams were aligned in their approach, generating a renewed confidence in the outcome and management of the legacy caseload.
