We want to see charities around the world harness the transformative power of legacy giving. As part of our commitment, we have set up the Legacy Futures Awards, aiming to invest in the future talent that will take our sector forward.

This year, we have three award categories: The Crispin Ellison Bursary Award, The Legacy Future Leader Award, and The Legacy Futures Innovation Award.

Crispin Ellison Bursary Award

This award is named in memory of former Legacy Link Director Crispin Ellison, whose career was dedicated to advancing professional knowledge in the legacy sector.

The bursary is open to applicants from the UK, who are looking to further their professional development in the area of legacy administration and management.

Two winners will receive a training package from the Institute of Legacy Management. This will cover the cost of attaining the Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration (CiCLA, worth £1000), or £500 towards other ILM training.

Legacy Futures Innovation Award

This Award is open to any organisation that is looking to innovate in the area of legacy or in memory giving and create a big impact.

You may be looking to solve a particular challenge, reach a new audience or develop a new product.

The Award winner will receive consultancy support from Legacy Voice, who will deliver a design thinking workshop, to bring your idea to life. We will be looking for ideas that not only benefit your organsiation but the wider sector, and we will work together to share the results.

This is open to any charity or not-for-profit organisation in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.

Legacy Future Leader Award

This Award is designed to invest in a future legacy leader through our exclusive mentoring programme. You must be new to a legacy or in memory giving role (within the last 36 months) and looking to develop your passion into a career.

We will award three people with the opportunity to engage with experts from Legacy Futures over a period of six months through group mentoring.

We welcome applications from the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.
