Katherine Ellis is a qualified solicitor and experienced legacy manager.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 2009, Katherine spent six years in private practice specialising in contested probate and disputed estate matters.

In 2014 Katherine was offered the opportunity to utilise her knowledge and expertise for the national veterinary charity PDSA, where she worked as an in-house solicitor and legacy officer.

Within two years Katherine secured a promotion as a legacy manager with the British Heart Foundation based in London. As part of her role Katherine provided training, guidance and support to a team of legacy officers and administrators, as well as managing a full caseload of complex and contentious files.

In 2019 Katherine took the decision to return to private practice where her knowledge and expertise were consistently recognised in the Legal 500. A number of Katherine's articles regarding estate administration and management have been published by the Law Society.

In her spare time Katherine volunteers as a trustee at a local Hospice.
