Liz has worked in charity legacy administration for 20 years and holds the CiCLA , is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and STEP Affiliate.
Before entering the charity sector, Liz started out life as a negotiator at an auctioneers, valuers and estate agents. Liz then moved to a firm of solicitors, where she gained experience in conveyancing and private client work. This gave Liz the ideal background to be enable her to take up the position of Legacy Officer at the RNIB.
Liz held the position of Legacy Officer and then Legacy Administration Manager at the RNIB for 17 years before meeting her husband and moving to Somerset, where she took up the role as Legacy Manager for the National Osteoporosis Society.
Liz has gained extensive experience not only in both contentious and non-contentious Legacy Administration, but in internal legacy awareness raising to members of staff, volunteers and Trustees.
Liz and her family love the great outdoors and are keen surfers and kitesurfers, escaping to the coast in their campervan whenever they can. Liz also loves to run and completed her first ultra 50 mile race last year.
