Lucinda's career in the charity sector began in 2004 when working in a Hospice.
At this time she honed her skills in most Fundraising disciplines and achieved the Certificate in Charity Resource Management at Sheffield Hallum University. Lucinda held and developed roles in Donor Support, Event Management, Legacy and In Memory giving and latterly became Head of Fundraising, managing teams responsible for raising in excess of £5million per year.
In 2018 Lucinda chose to specialise in Legacy Management when joining a regional cancer research organisation and subsequently joining the Legacy Futures team as a Developing Consultant in the summer of 2021, whilst simultaneously working with The Brooke part-time. She has since completed CiCLA with a Distinction.
Lucinda has supported charities and her clients in refining procedures for legacy case management, developing training plans for new legacy officers, building cases to adapt data capture or software and advising on legacy strategy.
In her spare time Lucinda has also volunteered her time within primary education, suicide prevention and homeless charities.
Around work Lucinda enjoys, travelling, long walks with her cockapoo, Peggy, a decent coffee and a science-based podcast!"
