This panel will discuss and identify the points at which fundraising and academic practitioners can converge and enhance insight into the fundraising profession. It will discuss the barriers to effective collaboration and the methods by which such ventures can be optimised in order to harness the academic and fundraising insights. Working towards an idea of impact, the panel will consider what the future of interaction between professional academics who research fundraising and professional fundraisers interested in academic research looks like.
